    • What are your favorite websites and why?

I enjoy various forums and image sharing sites. I enjoy being able to use the internet to connect to other users, share thoughts and ideas, and even be able to give get help and recommendations quickly.

    • What is your ideal career, profession, vocation, or job?

I would like a job that is mentally and physically challenging, rewarding, filled with unique opportunities, and requires high energy; what I would describe as a 90mph job. Preferably there would be high travel opportunities and the ability to problem solve and innovate. Later I would like to transition into a managerial or entrepreneurial position and apply my former job experience.

    • What are your favorite academic subjects?

I enjoy learning about sciences, specifically medicine, and technology.

    • What sorts of hobbies interest you?

I like any kind of hobby that’s mentally and physically stimulating.

    • What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

My spare time involves various reading and discussions. I enjoy maritime activities like diving, boating, fishing, sailing, and surfing. On land I’m a motorcycle and bicycle enthusiast.

    • What civic/community clubs or activities are you involved in?

Currently I’m a member of Virginia Beach EMS. I volunteer a minimum of 48 hours a month as an EMT and in the Water Rescue team.

    • Where in the world would you most like to travel?

There are no areas of the world I would not travel to. I enjoy seeing new cultures and areas, whether rural, urban, developed, or non-developed. I definitely want to see Russia to view the clash of what has been described of first-world technology in a third-world-country.

    • What sorts of political issues concern/interest you?

I’m politically interested in matters of taxes, oil development, public safety, and global interests.

    • What sorts of social issues concern/interest you?

Socially I’m concerned with the state of public education and the effects of modern media outlets.

    • What current events concern/interest you?

I have a strong concern about the backlash on public safety and law enforcement officers.

    1. My favorite types of websites are ones that you can lose yourself into. Sites like YouTube, Reddit, and Wikipedia. Websites were one thing leads to another, then after about an hour or so of falling down the quintessential rabbit hole you find yourself reading about a game that involves Nazis riding velociraptors.

    2. My ideal career would involve some sort of job that would allow me to be an engineer and a woodworker.

    3. My favorite academic subjects are anything that involves history. I have taken four different American history classes and two American war history classes. Because if we can’t learn from history we are doomed to repeat it, right?

    4. My favorite hobbies include woodworking, car repair, and metalworking. I have been woodworking for more than fifteen years and I recently took a class on blacksmithing.

    5. My spare time mostly involves spending time with my wife and two kids. I might get to sneak in a few computer games after both of the kids have gone to bed.

    6. I am not currently in any community or civic clubs. I have done some work for Habitat for Humanity and a group my parents started called M.O.M.S. (Mothers of Military Serving). They send care packages to soldiers and sailors that are forward deployed.

    7. I would love to travel to Greece. I have a fascination with Roman culture and classic Greek literature.

    8. The political issue that concerns me the most is the use of corporate funds to endorse political candidates. All of these corporations that spend millions upon millions of dollars supporting their candidates WILL want something in return. I would like for the next president to not be selected and controlled by the Koch brothers.

    9. The social issue that concerns me the most is the blind eye that world is turning on the situation in Africa. The same time the Charlie Hedbo solidarity walk was being conducted the terrorist group Boko Haram killed two thousand people in Baga, Nigeria. Where is their public outcry and world leaders assembling for that?

    10. The lack of parents getting their children immunized is the current event that concerns me the most. The recent outbreak of measles is due to this issue. It is beyond me why people are still have to suffer a disease that we can easily irradiate if people just got their children some shots.

    1. My favorite websites are basically any ones that help me to relax and divert my attention. For this reason, I particularly enjoy gaming websites or websites such as wikis where I can learn a lot about almost anything.

    2. My ideal career would involve some sort of engineering position where I could solve practical problems and actively work to relieve the suffering of people across the world.

    3. My favorite academic subjects are ones which are focused on history, science, or religion. I love the topics covered by mechanical engineering courses, but I also love learning about past events.

    4. Hobbies that interest me include tinkering, learning about new topics, and performing tasks or playing games that challenge my brain.

    5. I love playing video games. Some people may shrug off video games as a waste of time, but they allow me to experience things that I would otherwise never have access to.

    6. I am an active member of my church and take several opportunities to help give back to the community. I’m a part of our mission team, which focuses on construction of churches and other buildings.

    7. There are two places that I really wish to visit: Israel and Europe. Israel is practically at the center of the world, being a crossroads of Western and Eastern culture. It is also a holy city for three of the major world religions. I also love Europe because of the rich culture and history.

    8. I am most concerned with social political issues. This is because I have become convinced that any economical system can become corrupted. There is no use arguing over capitalism, communism, or socialism.

    9. I try to reach out to the less fortunate. I feel that I am called to help and to reach out to the poor and those in prison. I am also an adamant supporter of freedom of religion.

    10. The recent terrorist attack in France was especially concerning to me. I am intrigued by the dynamic of both religion and freedom of speech. I try not to adopt the popular opinions of politicians or the public, so I have formulated my own response to the terrorist attacks. However, I have been watching closely as the post-attack events play out.
